AI is moving fast. Faster than most of us can make sense of. But this session was more about the ideas it can help us examine. In this experimental session of The Thinking Machine, we used AI to simulate conversations with Martin Luther King Jr, Mary Shelley, Robin Williams, and Homer Simpson. Each was asked the same question — what is the good life?
Through them, we explored service, creation, humour, and the ordinary joys that make life worth living. It raised questions about faith, meaning, and the role of pain in shaping a life well lived.
Listen for:
MLK on faith and moral courage
Mary Shelley on creation and grief
Robin Williams on laughter and healing
Homer Simpson on simplicity and love
Recorded live at The Forum at Q, York.
